Impact Report 2025

BCM Georgia – Stable Homes, Thriving Families – Our FY25 Impact Report and a Bold Step Forward for a 2 Generation Strategy to Serve Families
BCM Georgia reflects on a Fiscal Year 2025 filled with compassion, resilience, and life-changing impact. Serving 2,916 adults and children across Metro Atlanta from 1,098 low-income working families – BCM delivered more than $3.2 million in direct financial assistance and provided case management support to families in need.
The heart of BCM’s work shines through its three signature programs. Emergency Rental Assistance acted as a critical lifeline to keep families in stable housing, preventing eviction during sudden crises for 1,023 households. Foundation 3™, the 12-month stabilization program housing families with children living on the edge of homelessness, served more than 25 families in the past year. This intensive case management-supported program is seeing success: every one of its six FY25 graduating families remaining housed and employed six months later, while all seven graduates from the prior year continue to remain housed beyond the one-year mark. Meanwhile, Budget for Life™ empowered 50 families living paycheck-to-paycheck through virtual financial and life skills coaching, resulting in $392,656 in debt reduction and $45,037 saved – with every participating family cutting debt by at least 10%.
These numbers represent more than statistics; they are stories of our neighbors who kept their homes, their jobs, their kids in school, and their hope because someone chose to love thy neighbor.
Generosity to Support More Families
Community generosity fueled BCM’s ability to serve families struggling to make ends meet. In addition to donors who year after year support BCM’s work in the community, there were two fundraisers. The 28th Annual Tee It Up Golf Tournament at Peachtree Golf Club shattered records, raising nearly $400,000 with 112 players and 38 sponsors, led by Presenting Sponsor, SouthState Bank. The Seeds of Change Society marked its 15th year, raising over $56,000 at its luncheon, where members awarded heartfelt Extra Wish Grants – from bunk beds for growing children to vehicle repairs that kept parents working. These events remind us that when Atlanta comes together to support our community, the ripple effect of kindness reaches far.
New Strategic Plan Results in 5 Impactful Goals to Help Families in Need
In June 2025, BCM proudly launched its two-generation (2Gen) approach. Recognizing that family stability and children’s success are deeply interconnected, BCM Georgia’s programs view each family’s housing stability success as an investment in keeping adults working and in supporting children to stay in their same schools, ensuring they have a chance for a better future. Stable housing leads to better school attendance, reduced stress, and higher chances of long-term success for the next generation.
This whole-family strategy, paired with a newly redesigned website that makes applying for help simpler than ever, lays the foundation for BCM Georgia to meet families exactly where they are – especially at during this time of year, when financial pressures often peak.
Stable Families Foster Children’s Growth and Success
Looking ahead through the holidays and into 2026, the need remains urgent. A major federal funding source ends in October 2026. President & CEO Greg Cole and Board Chair Roy Jenkins both emphasize the same truth: BCM’s ability to serve others succeeds because of you – donors, volunteers, faith partners, and friends who believe stable homes create thriving families.
This holiday season and throughout 2026, BCM Georgia invites you to keep the momentum going. A gift today means a family can remain in their community, children will open presents at home instead of a shelter, and parents start the new year with a future that hold promise.
