BCM serves vulnerable neighbors through preventive measures like emergency rental assistance during a crisis - loss of a job or medical emergencies - stabilizing homes and sparing children the devastating trauma of displacement. BCM's case managers provide financial and life skills education to ensure that hardworking families can have a brighter future.

Budget for Life Changes Lives with Your Help

BCM Georgia envisions a future where every family has a safe home, children can learn without interruption, and communities are stronger through increased stability and opportunity. Our work extends beyond immediate crisis assistance. It is an investment in the strength of children, the resilience of families, and the health of entire communities, paving the way for a brighter future.

Our Budget for Life Program directly addresses the needs of vulnerable families, working alongside them as they learn to budget, pay down debt, and establish lifelong habits that lead to financial security.

One mother in our program sent us a poem about the impact, titled From Stress to Strength. In it she writes:

"I used to stretch a dollar like it had wings, Praying it would fly me past overdue things....

But then came a shift, a door opened wide, A class that taught me to look deep far inside...."

BCM Receives a Housing Stability Grant from the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta

As a leader in addressing community needs by providing emergency rental support to prevent eviction and offering long-term life skills and financial education, BCM is delighted to be a part of the grantee class for the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta's Housing Stability Grant.

BCM Georgia envisions a future where every family has a safe home, children can learn without interruption, and communities are stronger through increased stability and opportunity. Our work extends beyond immediate crisis assistance. It is an investment in the strength of children, the resilience of families, and the health of entire communities, paving the way for a brighter future.

BCM’s impact extends beyond individual households. By preventing eviction for families, supporting financial well-being, and maintaining educational stability, we foster thriving neighborhoods, ease pressures on homeless shelters, schools and other public services, and help create healthier, more united communities. Our programs help reinforce the social fabric by keeping families connected to their schools, work opportunities, faith-based networks, and local neighborhoods.

This grant supports organizations who serve Fulton, Cobb, Dekalb, Gwinnett, and Clayton counties. Thank you to Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta for entrusting us to serve our community

Bold Steps Forward: BCM's Impact Report '25

In a powerful push to break cycles of poverty, BCM Georgia launched its innovative two-generation (2Gen) approach to serving vulnerable neighbors. Benefitting both parents and children together for lasting stability, this holistic approach to stable housing ensures that parents can keep working and their children can remain in their same schools.

The 2025 Impact Report shines a light on BCM's support for nearly 3,000 adults and children across 1,098 families, easing family stress and paving the way for brighter tomorrows. Read more here.....
